In this 2023 BitStarz review, I’m going to share with you what I’ve learned after hours of researching and interacting with the site.

Reputation of Owners

This took a little investigation to figure out. Originally, the owner of BitStarz was listed as Direx N.V. However, in 2020 they changed their name to Dama N.V. 

Direx N.V. is listed as a casino software provider. Dama N.V. is listed as a company that runs casinos, registered and established under the laws of Curaçao, with registration number 152125. 

I was a little lost so I contacted customer service. They told me that Direx N.V. and Dama N.V. are the same entity. And they run casinos. LOTS of casinos. Like around 40 of them, including BitStarz.

If you’re still confused, that’s okay. Just know that these guys have been around for a while, they have a great reputation, and they know their stuff. ‘Nuf said.
 

Complaints Received

There have been a few complaints, the majority having been resolved through third party sites. Most complaints seem to be regarding people having trouble receiving their winnings. 

Others have mentioned certain games being blocked in their country. These are actually clearly listed in the Terms & Conditions, and is due to the policies of the game providers, not the casino.

Yet others complained about being able to open an account even though they were in restricted countries, or opening multiple accounts, and then not being able to withdraw. 

The irony being, they knew they were breaking the rules to begin with and then had the nerve to complain about not being able to withdraw illegal winnings.

I had seen people mention the VIP program but saw nothing about it on the website. So again, I asked the helpful customer service people.

I was told that there is a VIP program, but it’s based on selection and not progression. If your account is eligible, it will be picked up by their VIP manager and you will be emailed about it. 

There are certain exemptions from bonus terms and conditions for those in the VIP program. Certain bonus limitations no longer apply to VIPs and you will have an account manager if you need anything extra added to your account.

BitStarz’s customer service is amazing. Chat is available 24/7 and they respond almost instantly with very helpful and considerate customer service reps.

But that’s not the only thing that blew me away. I have emailed customer service from other casinos and waited days for a reply. BitStarz answered my email within the hour! Who does that?

I did not try to contact them through Facebook, but that’s another option if you have questions or concerns. I’m betting they respond fast there, too.

Clearly, I’m not the only one amazed by BitStarz’s customer service. They have even won awards for it! 

If you're equally impressed with the live chat service, you can even leave your Customer Service Representative a tip in BTC. They will certainly appreciate it, and that will result in continued great service.

They also respond quickly to complaints on various review sites. 

I mentioned earlier that people complained about not being able to withdraw winnings after violating the casino’s rules. Let’s just say the responses to these “complaints” were pretty entertaining.

BitStarz doesn’t have a maximum payout limit. However, substantial wins may be paid out monthly. These withdrawals will take more than the average 10 minutes to process.

There may be maximum limits on individual withdrawal methods, but these limits are imposed by the providers, not BitStarz. Some of these providers may also charge fees.
 

Payout Speed

Most payouts are completed within 10 minutes but can take up to an hour, though some may take longer. If it will be longer, it is stated when you choose your method of withdrawal. Bitcoin withdrawals can take up to 20 minutes.
